Fun, Informative & Highly Interactive Team Building Seminars in Edmonton and Throughout Alberta

OPEN INVITATION TO TEAM LEADERS

As your team building speaker and facilitator in Edmonton and throughout Alberta, my purpose is to create a safe learning environment where you and your team can discover new ways of solving problems in the workplace such as dealing and communicating with co-workers and bouncing back from mistakes with confidence.

My method involves teaching a variety of strategies, tools and techniques, which you can use outside of the team building seminar, to help you work together, steadily improve your performance, be motivated, stay with the company and grow as leaders. And, most importantly, get past your stumbling blocks.

Here are some of the areas we can work on during your team building seminar in Edmonton and throughout Alberta:

  • Change management and accepting change.

  • Taking initiative and being willing to ask for help.

  • Moving on and learning from your mistakes.

  • Handling burnout, stress and setbacks.

  • Motivation, teamwork and accountability.

  • Communication, collaboration and resolving conflict.

  • Public speaking and presentation skills.

Strengthen communication, teamwork & innovation...

In my team building seminars, I use a variety of block building activities to facilitate discussions about overcoming challenges, obstacles and hurdles at work. These team building activities, which I call the Stumbling Blocks Challenge, help people see their stumbling blocks in a fresh and powerful way. The challenges are fun and educational and have the added benefit of strengthening communication, teamwork and innovation—the building blocks you need to build a stronger, more resilient team.

How does the Stumbling Blocks Challenge help with teamwork?

  • It improves communication by strengthening an individuals ability to work within a team.

  • It improves collaboration by encouraging team members to work together to achieve an end result.

  • It improves problem solving by encouraging participants to explore different solutions to the challenge.

“Right from the start, Barbara engaged our group at a level that challenged us. Discussion was aimed at how to apply our insights to our own situations. The day moved quickly and no one was zoning out. A great experience all around.”
