A former national level gymnast, coach and trainer of coaches, Barbara May received the 3M Coach Recognition Award for her outstanding contribution to the sport community. She holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Alberta and brings over two decades of teaching, speaking and leadership experience to her programs and clients.

Barbara May has built her career since 1986, as a program director, executive director, school counselor, and course conductor with the National Coaching Certification Program. She has interviewed business owners on the Learning & Job News, hosted ACCESS Television's "May We Talk", joked her way into the Guinness World Records, and appeared in numerous television commercials including "Bright Nights" and "Buffet Royal."
