About Barbara

Barbara May teaches leadership skills during her entertaining presentation.

Barbara May is a keynote speaker, seminar leader and workshop facilitator who helps people develop their communication and leadership skills. She has influenced thousands of people through her entertaining presentations and firmly believes in the importance of leadership development at all levels in an organization.

A former national level gymnast, coach and trainer of coaches, Barbara received the 3M Coach Recognition Award for her outstanding contribution to the sport community. She holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Alberta and brings over two decades of teaching, speaking and leadership experience to her programs and clients.

Barbara May has built her career since 1986, as a program director, executive director, school counselor, and course conductor with the National Coaching Certification Program. She has interviewed business owners on the Learning & Job News, hosted ACCESS Television's "May We Talk", joked her way into the Guinness World Records, and appeared in numerous television commercials including "Bright Nights" and "Buffet Royal."

In her keynotes and seminars, Barbara combines her sports background with her leadership experience to inspire and motivate people to excel at work.
